Venthanpatti is one of the 98 chettinad towns. This place is famous for its 'Nandhi' the bull god of Lord Shiva. A siva temple known as Meenatchi Chokeeswarer is located in the village. In this temple, the Ghee Nandhi is very familiar attraction workshipped by many devotees.
