Thiruvengaivasal - The Vyagapuriswara-Brahadambal Temple is 6 kms on the Pudukkottai-Thiruchirapalli road. The temple was originally a Chola structure built in the 11th century. The Pandyas subsequently renovated it. The inscriptions in the temples are important source for the study of the socio-political history of the area.
